Maori Hikoi

I don’t know about you, but i’ve heard Maori people talk about being treated differently and that the white people are racist towards them. Well after todays performance, what the hell do you expect.
They bring it on themselves. They want to be equal and treated the same, but want their own seat on the supercity council. You can’t have both. If they believe they are equal to any other contender for the seat, then they should stand to be chosen for a seat when an election takes place, like everyone else has to.
Who the hell wants a supercity anyway. Auckland is big enough without it combining and starting to sound like its taking over the world. As soon as the idea of a “supercity” was brought to the attention of anyone who could run it, they became possessed to make it reality. They have become power-hungry at the thought of a powerful and consuming supercity.
You give some people an inch… they’ll take a mile…
1 blog down, we’ll see how it goes.

Lol, Maori people are no more power hungry than European people…or any other people for that matter. PS…I think a supercity is a fab idea :-)
